Small garden schemes
from ~£500
Compact rear gardens with a handful of fittings — typically border spots plus one or two feature uplights.

Eastbourne
Designed on-site, installed by us, with marine-grade fittings guaranteed 10 years and our workmanship guaranteed 2. Nothing to pay until you've approved the plan.
Why lighting matters
Most Eastbourne homeowners we meet have spent years on their garden — mature borders, a good patio, a specimen tree they're quietly proud of — and none of it exists after dark. The usual fix is a single glaring PIR floodlight over the back door, which flattens the whole garden and blinds anyone using it. We design the opposite: layered, low-glare schemes that pick out the shapes you already love and make the garden genuinely usable from dusk through to bedtime.

Services
Almost every garden we work on combines three or four of these. We treat them as one design, not six separate installs.
Low-level spike spots tucked into planting to graze foliage and pull depth out of borders after sunset.
Discreet bollards and recessed in-ground fittings that guide the walk from gate to front door without runway-strip glare.
Warm-white recessed deck lights, wall washers and step lights sized so you can actually eat outside in September.
Aimed uplights on mature specimens — copper beech, Scots pine, magnolia — set to graze the trunk and lift the canopy.
PIR-controlled, warm-white floods sited off the eaves rather than on them, so the beam actually covers the garden.
Bronze and 316 stainless wall lights and grazers for period Meads facades, Sovereign Harbour render and coastal stone.

How it works
We walk the garden with you — usually an hour — and talk through how you actually use it after dark.
We measure on-site, mark every fitting location and cable route, then send a clear plan with specs and a fixed-price quote. You pay nothing until you've approved the plan.
We run the cabling, mount the fittings and terminate everything neatly — any 240V mains work is certified to BS 7671 as required by law.
Every uplight is aimed, every dimmer set and every scene programmed before we hand over. We show you how to control it and leave the garden tidy.
Guide prices
Every scheme is quoted from a survey — but here's what real Eastbourne installs have cost this year.
Small garden schemes
from ~£500
Compact rear gardens with a handful of fittings — typically border spots plus one or two feature uplights.
Front garden & driveway
£2,500 – £4,500
Path lights, driveway markers, facade wall lights and a couple of tree uplights. The most-requested scope.
Whole-garden designs
£5,000+
Layered, zoned schemes across front and rear with terrace lighting, feature specimens and smart control.
What moves the number: garden size, total number of fittings, cable-run length across lawns and hard landscaping, and whether the scheme is 12V low-voltage (most gardens) or 240V mains (long driveways, facades, large floodlights).

Why choose us
Built for the Eastbourne coast
Anywhere within a mile of the seafront — Meads, Sovereign Harbour, Pevensey Bay, the Western Lawns — the air carries enough chloride to pit unfinished aluminium and rust mild-steel spikes inside three winters. It's the single biggest reason we get called out to "replace what someone else installed".
On coastal properties we specify 316 marine-grade stainless, solid brass or bronze, with fully sealed IP65+ housings and marine-grade gel-filled cable joints. It's a modest uplift on the fitting cost and it's the reason our schemes still look right ten years in. It's also why we can guarantee the fittings for that long.
Guaranteed. In writing.
Every scheme we install comes with these, written into your quote before you commit to anything.
We register every manufacturer warranty in your name so nothing lapses because a form wasn't filled in. Manufacturer warranties are subject to their standard terms; your copy comes with your certificate on handover.
Ring us first. Most faults are a tripped RCD, a timer setting or a cable cut by a spade, and we can usually sort those over the phone.
If we need to visit and the fault is our workmanship, the visit and the repair are free.
If it isn't ours (accidental damage, rodents, third-party work, or a fitting that's failed under manufacturer warranty), the call-out is £75, and we'll tell you that before we set off, not after. Where a fitting has failed under warranty, we'll swap it and handle the claim for you.

Areas we cover
We work across every postcode in Eastbourne plus Willingdon and Pevensey Bay. Each area has its own character — and its own lighting brief.
Period Victorian and Edwardian villas with mature gardens, high exposure to salt air off the seafront.
Established gardens behind period homes off Church Street — often mature trees that respond beautifully to subtle uplighting.
Terraced and semi-detached homes with courtyard gardens where restrained, low-level schemes work best.
Larger family gardens with lawns and borders — ideal for zoned schemes covering patio, borders and rear boundary.
Marina townhouses right on the water — every fitting we specify here is marine-grade brass or 316 stainless.
Family homes with practical rear gardens where driveway and pathway lighting adds real day-to-day value.
Detached homes on generous plots on the Downs' edge — well suited to whole-garden designs with feature uplighting.
Elevated gardens with sea views — architectural facade lighting and terrace lighting are the usual brief.
Larger gardens on the northern edge of Eastbourne, often bordering the Downs — we work to dark-sky-friendly aiming.
Coastal properties directly exposed to prevailing south-westerlies — marine-grade fittings are non-negotiable here.
Local guides covering salt exposure, garden type and what's worth lighting in each area.
